Sarah Brannen discovered yoga as a student around about the year 2000. In 2013 after struggling to find yoga classes locally for mums and babies she trained to teach baby yoga and started Warm Hearts Yoga. Over the years her practice and business has evolved, Sarah is an Experienced Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance.

"I have always enjoyed working with children, from helping out in the local dance academy as a teenager to working as a Secondary teacher before having my own children so it was seemed a natural progression for me to share my passion of yoga with children as well as adults."

Sarah originally trained with Birthlight to teach baby yoga, then continued her training to include toddlers, children of all ages and their families. After a few years running classes for local families Sarah felt she would like to learn more and completed her 200hr yoga training with CYS, adding adult yoga classes to her weekly offerings. Sarah has taught classes for children of all ages, in community classes, in private nurseries, in schools, and for after school clubs. She loves the imagination, enthusiasm and curiosity children bring to their yoga practice.

"Seeing the positive impact yoga can have on children from such a young age, both in the family classes I have taught and in nursery settings inspired me to create this training and help others make yoga a part of life in the early years"

Sarah has an established personal ashtanga practice, which she has developed with the assistance of some wonderful teachers after having her second daughter in 2013. She practices primary and intermediate series and has recently begun to work through third series. She loves how these postures challenge her, whilst inviting some humility alongside a sense of fun and light heartedness into practice.
