Hello, I’m Sarah Brannen. I’d love to help you begin your Ashtanga yoga journey.

It's important to find the right yoga teacher and the right class for you. If you're looking for an experienced teacher, who loves to help people find joy through yoga you're in the right place. 

Getting started is often the hardest step, so I offer new students 4 weeks of unlimited Ashtanga classes for £20. It’s a simple way to try things out and see how yoga can support you.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga builds strength, stamina and flexibility whilst encouraging an inwards focus to soothe the mind. In this system we work with a set sequence of postures, moving with the breath. Variations are offered so you can adapt the practice to suit your body.

Mysore Style classes in Ashtanga Yoga are a way to give each student one to one teaching in a group class. Everyone will learn the sequence step by step, and practice at their own pace with guidance and personalised adjustments from the teacher. This personal approach makes the Mysore classes a perfect place for beginners.

If you are brand new to yoga I would recommend starting with a Mysore Style class before joining one of the led classes. This gives you a chance to learn the fundamentals at your own pace.

You are also welcome to try my everyday yoga classes during your trial. These classes use the postures from the Ashtanga yoga sequences as a framework and include other movements, breathwork, and guided relaxation. They are ideal for anyone who would like a led class at a slower pace.
