What to expect when you come to Yoga Babies

I am so excited to be able to restart my parent and baby classes in person. I know that this change brings it's own challenges, fears and anxieties. Please rest assured that I am doing everything I can to try and ensure that you feel safe and comfortable when attending classes.

The information below gives you an idea of what to expect when you come along to a class, but if there is anything I have missed or a question you have please do contact me, sarah@warmheartsyoga.co.uk

Booking

  • All spaces must be pre-booked and paid online.  I am only accepting block bookings for the moment.

Arriving

  • Please comply with the current guidance, and do not show up for class if you or any member of your household have any Covid-19 symptoms.
  • Please wear a face mask when you enter the hall, and keep this on until you get to your mat.  You may remove the mask when on your mat but please put it back on anytime you step off your mat.
  • Please maintain the required 2m distancing when entering and moving around inside.  Enter the room one at a time.
  • There is hand sanitiser available for you to use.
  • I will be waiting at the door to class (which will be propped open), and will check in with you as you arrive.  This check will include taking your temperature with a non-contact thermometer.
  • Spaces will be marked on the floor, please fill these from the back of the room to the front.

Equipment

  • Please bring your own mat with you, or alternatively you can purchase a second hand (thoroughly cleaned) mat from me at your first class for £5
  • As we cannot use our parachute at the moment, I will provide a juggling scarf to each family in your first class, this is yours to keep.  Please bring it with you to each class.
  • If you would like to use anything else in your classes (blanket, cushion, block etc.) please bring it with you.

During Class

  • Please place any belongings on the floor beside your mat, ideally stored in a bag.
  • If you need to leave your mat at any point please wear your mask.
  • Doors will be propped open throughout class, so make sure you are dressed accordingly.
  • Current guidance advises against group singing, so I will ask you to use a soft spoken voice directly to your baby.
  • Have fun and enjoy the sessions!

After Class

  • There will be time after class for a chat with other parents.
  • I am unable to provide refreshments at the moment, but please feel free to bring your own along.
  • Please empty the hall from the front to the back (as much as possible) and maintain the 2m distancing.  Remember to wear your mask when leaving class.

I am very much looking forward to welcoming you in person again.
