Hello, I'm Sarah. I'm a Senior Yoga Teacher based in St Andrews and I’m looking forward to welcoming you to my new space. ‍

I've been practising yoga throughout my adult life and teaching since 2013. I have explored many different styles of yoga over the years, yet I always find myself returning to Ashtanga and the steadiness it brings me.

IIn 2026, Warm Hearts Yoga grew into something I had dreamed of for many years: Tristhāna, a dedicated yoga space in the heart of St Andrews.

The name Tristhāna reflects the three essential elements of yoga practice: the teacher, the community and the space itself. It represents everything I have always wanted Warm Hearts Yoga to be: a welcoming place where people can practise, learn, connect and grow.

Whether you are stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time, returning after many years away, or deepening an established practice, you are welcome here.

I believe yoga has something to offer everyone, and I would love to share the practice with you.

“Whether I’m teaching tiny babies or older adults, I invite people to be curious. To explore movement, play with what is possible and ask questions. Yoga has been a practice of learning and exploration for thousands of years, and I believe that when we keep learning, we keep growing. There is always something new to discover.”

Sarah

Stay Curious

Yoga isn't about getting everything right. It's about exploring, noticing and discovering what works for you.

Keep Learning

Whether you're six weeks old or seventy-six, there is always something new to learn. Every practice offers an opportunity to grow.

Honour Tradition

I teach in a way that respects yoga's roots while making it welcoming, accessible and relevant for modern life.

  • "I hadn’t done Ashtanga for about a decade when I decided to take it up again, so I was quite nervous about joining an established class. With Warm Hearts Yoga, I didn’t need to be nervous at all!"

    Paul

  • "Love Sarah’s classes! Guaranteed to feel refreshed and relaxed - just listening to her calming voice immediately puts you in the ‘zone’. Join us - you won’t regret it!!"

    Fiona

  • “Offers brilliant physical support for other sports, in my case swimming, with its strengthening and lengthening. It is immensely satisfying to see one’s own gradual process, wherever you start from. Gives you an optimism that spills over into other areas of life...”

    Rhiannon

  • “I always come out of your classes feeling much more zen, and like I've grown about a foot having stretched out. It's never as easy to push myself when practising alone and your soothing voice really helps to get a rhythm going to.”

    Fhi

  • “I absolutely love the ashtanga classes I’ve been following. With your encouragement, positivity and support I’ve improved so many of my postures! No matter what type of day I’ve had, after getting on my mat for class I never fail to feel invigorated. Having these classes during lockdown and beyond has helped me so much, so thank you.”

    Jen

  • "Baby yoga is the best! Fantastic class for both babies and mummies. Packed with fun yoga for babies and nice stretching for mummies. I returned with baby two because we loved the classes so much! Highly recommend."
