Rooted in strength, open to play
Arm balances ask us to find focus, stability, and a good dose of curiosity. In this workshop we’ll explore the foundations of postures like Crow, and firefly, looking at how breath, bandhas and core connection can support lift-off. You’ll be guided through ways to build strength and stability through the hands, wrists and centre, with space to play and explore at your own pace. Whether you’re learning these poses for the first time or refining your flight, you’ll be supported to explore with steadiness and ease.

Part of the Winter Workshop Series
This three-part workshop series is designed for anyone looking to explore their yoga practice more deeply. Each session offers a practical, accessible dive into a different group of postures — backbends, arm balances, and inversions — with time to break things down, ask questions, and build confidence. Rooted in the tradition of Ashtanga but open to all practitioners, you’ll be guided through breathwork, alignment, and subtle energetics, with a touch of philosophy woven in along the way. Whether you're new to these poses or revisiting them with fresh eyes, these workshops offer space to grow, explore and connect.
