A class for parents/carers to participate in together with their child as we stretch, get active and laugh with yoga.
Family yoga provides kids & adults a chance to embrace their playfulness and spend some great quality time together. Work together with your children creating shapes, moving, breathing, and relaxing together. This is time to let go of expectations, engage your imagination and find connections.
Open to all ages, but children from 2 upwards will find it easiest to participate in all the activities.
One ticket gives access to one adult and one child, additional children can be added at a small additional cost.

INSTRUCTIONS
Please bring along your own yoga mat if you can, wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in. Ideally bare feet for class is the best way to avoid slipping on the floor, if you or your children are not comfortable with bare feet, shoes can be kept on.

Ashtanga is a powerful and dynamic style of yoga, with postures that will challenge your balance, and stretch your whole body. If you’re looking for a class to keep you moving whilst you build strength and stamina this practice is for you!
This 5 week course will introduce you to the foundations of the Ashtanga Yoga practice in a supportive, guided setting. Each week we’ll explore the postures, breath, and rhythm of the Ashtanga sequence step by step, helping you build strength, flexibility, and confidence in your practice.
Classes will be fully guided, so you’ll move together as a group. You’ll learn key techniques, foundational postures, and sequences that will support you in any yoga class or provide the framework for you to begin your Ashtanga Yoga Practice.

“Mysore” style yoga is a way of teaching 1:1 in a small group setting, so I can make the practice relevant for each individual. In every class you will be guided through postures and breathing practices, plus given a chance to practice what you have learnt. Your practice will be built slowly and steadily week by week, with new postures added when you are ready, giving you a long term sustainable yoga practice designed just for you. These sessions give you a full 2 hours practice, giving you plenty of time to explore Asana, Pranayama, and more.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga builds strength, stamina and flexibility whilst encouraging the focus to move inwards to settle the mind. In this class everyone moves together with detailed instructions on the postures and breath from the teacher. Most weeks this class will be based around the postures in primary series, you will soon become familiar with these postures and the sequence. The first Thursday of each month is now a 90 minute full led primary series, and will finish at 8pm
